UK data centers may create only a quarter of the jobs tech industry projects, think tank Verdant found. Verdant estimates 10,400 permanent operational roles by 2035, versus techUK's 40,200 forecast. Verdant calculated 1.2 jobs per megawatt, while techUK used 8.5.
