KDE Linux integrated openQA testing to verify each signed system image before shipping. The system boots builds in a VM, runs installation and upgrade tests, and uses Selenium via AT-SPI2 instead of fragile screenshot needles. Tests run in CI containers, saving bandwidth and storage. A staging directory prevents untested images from being published.
