Microsoft's latest Windows bug belongs in the Recycle Bin

A Windows update introduced a cosmetic bug that shows internal file names like $Rxxxxx.ext in the deletion confirmation dialog instead of the original file name. The bug affects Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 through Windows 11 26H1 and Windows Server 2012 through 2025. Microsoft stated a fix is in progress for a future update.
