Custom Microprocessor Fabricated Via Wafer.space

Breaking Taps has fabricated a custom transport triggered architecture microprocessor through wafer.space, using the Spade language to design a system-on-chip with two busses, memory and peripherals. The chip uses older fabrication technology, making the silicon unusually large, and is mounted on a carrier under clear epoxy. It runs simple programs on a breadboard, showing affordable custom IC fabrication is advancing.
