Google Removes Pro Models for Free Users

Starting October 9, Google restricts free Gemini app users to the Flash-Lite model, removing access to Flash and Pro. The $4.99 AI Plus plan also loses Pro access, while the $19.99 AI Pro tier retains all models including Deep Think. Existing chats may switch to the restricted model, and usage limits refresh every five hours.
