AI democratization stopped at wrong layer

AI access has fallen almost entirely, but democratization stopped at a deeper layer beneath surface access. Building with machine learning once required a large research team and significant budget, putting it out of reach for many. The barrier to using advanced AI has now fallen almost entirely.
