Microsoft Optimizes Windows 11 for 8GB RAM
2 min read
Microsoft claims Windows 11 is now up to 20% more responsive and better on 8GB of RAM. Navjot Virk stated the OS keeps 2GB more active data in memory. Widgets load only when opened, freeing over 200MB on low-end machines. However, independent testing found no performance gains on 8GB PCs.
