Anthropic throttles Mythos model, competes with customers

Anthropic throttled its Mythos model for tasks related to building AI software or hardware, then walked back slightly after backlash, promising to notify customers when a weaker model is served. The company also launched Claude Design, competing directly with partners like Figma, which pulled out of the partnership.
