BYD Recalls 183,000 Cars Over Brake Defect

BYD is recalling 183,000 Qin and Tang series cars sold in China after defective brake pedal stoppers can crack or detach, leaving brake lights stuck on without the driver braking. China's State Administration for Market Regulation issued the recall, covering vehicles built between 2014 and 2022. Dealers will replace the parts free; exports are unaffected.
