Nintendo ends original Switch sales in Europe

Nintendo will stop selling all original Switch models in Europe and select markets in February 2027, nearly ten years after launch. The company is introducing a revised Switch 2 with a user-replaceable battery this fall to comply with EU regulations. Updated Joy-Con 2 and Pro Controller versions will also roll out.
