OpenAI acquired Ona, a startup providing secure cloud environments for AI agents. Ona's technology will let Codex handle longer-running tasks and help deploy agents into production. Ona's team joins the Codex division. Terms were not disclosed. Codex now supports over 5 million weekly active users.
