The next-generation BMW X5 will offer mild-hybrid petrol, mild-hybrid diesel, plug-in hybrid, battery-electric, and hydrogen fuel cell drivetrains. The iX5 uses a new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Efficiency tire. All versions share the same production line in Spartanburg, South Carolina, allowing BMW to adjust production based on EV demand.
