Tiny Robots Remove Microplastics From Soil and Water

Scientists from the Czech Republic created microscopic MXene robots coated with magnetic nickel nanoparticles. Rotating magnetic fields drive the robots, which successfully removed microplastics from soil and aquatic environments in lab tests. The work appears in npg Asia Materials.
