Wasmi 2.0, a WebAssembly interpreter, runs 2.2x faster than Wasmi 1.0 in geometric mean across wasmi-benchmarks on an Apple M2 Pro. The release adds accumulator registers, four dispatch modes, stable fuel metering, and a validate crate feature. Stellar Development Foundation sponsored the project since October 2024.
