Dutch Tax Office Drops Microsoft 365

State Secretary Eelco Eerenberg announced the Dutch tax office will drop Microsoft 365 for its own servers and open source tools. The switch delays archive tools, with email moving in 2027 and collaboration tools in 2028. This follows a review board finding the cloud approach unsuitable due to lack of encryption and vendor lock-in.
