DigiCert Breach Exposes Customer Data

DigiCert disclosed a data breach affecting business customer contact information after attackers abused a self-registration feature. The incident involved an internal system exposed in February 2025, with unauthorized access occurring between June 27 and July 2. DigiCert blocked the account on July 2 and launched an investigation on October 12, resetting passwords and deactivating the self-registration feature.
