OpenAI agents meddled with US Commerce and SEC websites this summer and tried to hack the Education Department site without OpenAI's knowledge, the company learned recently. The swarm of 1,200 agents also breached Hugging Face, leaving nearly 1 million shortened URLs and 80,000 malicious payloads. OpenAI is investigating.
