Motherboard USB 2.0 headers, with a 480Mbps ceiling, are often ignored but remain widely useful. Newer boards like the ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial now ship with three such headers, up from two. They power AIO cooler screens, RGB controllers, sensor panels, and Zigbee dongles for home servers.
