Ponda leads €2.76M wetland biomaterials project

Bristol startup Ponda secured a €2.76 million DEFRA grant to lead a wetland farming demonstration. The 30-month project will establish a 30-hectare site for growing typha (bulrush) to build a UK biomaterials supply chain. The consortium includes J&K Barnard Farms and Liverpool John Moores University.
