Hawaiian Airlines electrifies most of its Honolulu ground fleet

Hawaiian Airlines deployed 116 battery-electric ground support vehicles at Honolulu Airport, raising the electric share of its local fleet to 73%. The fleet includes Charlatte and Kalmar tractors and belt loaders, supported by 30 charging stations from the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation. The equipment handles 180 daily flights and over 8,500 checked bags.
