Hugging Face launches Carbon-X, an open-source AI model with 14.8 billion parameters trained on 302 billion tokens of DNA data. The tool scores 66.7% on internal tests, sits behind OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol, and fits on a single 80GB graphics card under an Apache 2.0 licence.
