POSTECH researchers developed a chip stacking method combining transfer printing and in-situ bonding under low heat and pressure. The technique stacks over 10 ultrathin chips with minimal warping, achieving roughly four times the memory density of current commercial chips. This could accelerate AI performance and benefit micro-LED displays and advanced processors.
