The Nintendo Switch 2 sold 5.9 million units in its first year, becoming the second fastest-selling console in US history behind the Game Boy Advance. Overall hardware spending rose 38% to $249 million, but PS5 unit sales dropped 58% and Xbox unit sales fell 12%.
