The Karnataka High Court quashed three Sessions Court orders defreezing Jar's bank accounts and releasing its gold and silver. Police can debit-freeze accounts under Section 106 of the BNSS without prior Magistrate approval, but must report forthwith. Attachment under Section 107 still requires a judicial order.
