India's Sebi board approved PRIM, letting portfolio managers invest client money in direct mutual fund plans, ETFs, index funds and SIFs. The route carries a Rs 25 lakh minimum ticket and expands PMS strategies beyond direct equities. APMI and Dezerv welcomed the framework, which could widen access to professionally managed portfolios.
