Samsung announced the Galaxy SmartTag 3, a $30 tracker that doubles as a pet activity monitor, logging motion and sleep. It adds Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding for up to 60 meters of range, ultra-wideband precision, 550-day battery life, and cross-platform support via SmartThings for iPhone and Android. It ships in early November in black or white.
