University of Toronto researchers disclosed GPUThor, a Rowhammer attack bypassing ECC on NVIDIA RTX A6000 and other Ampere GPUs, enabling DoS and root shell access. It achieves 72,000 to 377,000 flips per GB, 4,548 to 23,597 times higher than GPUHammer, with exploitable bit flips in about 1.1 minutes.
