Elastic Cloud Hosted now supports bring your own key on existing deployments, letting customers add a customer-managed encryption key in place without recreating the deployment. The feature requires an Enterprise subscription and a key from AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault or Google Cloud KMS. Revoking the key locks data directories within 30 minutes, and pre-migration snapshots become unavailable.
