Nasdaq-listed traveltech major MakeMyTrip acquires a majority stake in Bengaluru-based Quick Ride for an undisclosed amount to enter the ride pooling segment. Quick Ride's EV taxi business remains with iDisha Info Labs. The startup raised over $14 Mn from investors like Sequoia, Prosus and Venture Highway, with Sequoia exiting in 2021.
