HyperLight Raises $80M for TFLN AI Optics

HyperLight closed an $80 million Series C round led by MediaTek to accelerate thin-film lithium niobate photonics for AI infrastructure. Participants include UMC Capital, Jabil, Foxconn, EDBI, CDIB-TEN Capital, and Qatar Investment Authority. The funding targets scaling optical interconnects for higher bandwidth and lower power in pluggable and co-packaged optics.
