A PYMNTS Intelligence and Visa Acceptance Solutions survey of 1,185 merchants found 87% say checkout needs improvement. Many worry current payment tech won't meet market needs within three years. Mobile apps drive more sales gains than any other channel, but most merchants cannot clearly identify AI-driven traffic and purchases.
