Atlanta-based PadSplit, which rents furnished private rooms in shared homes with weekly payments and no credit check, launched Thursday in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York metro and Chicago. It operates over 39,000 rooms across 40-plus markets and has housed 90,000 people. San Francisco's Housing Accelerator Fund backs the launch, though no prices or deal size were disclosed.
