Chip simulation startup Vinci announced on Tuesday it raised $250M at a $1.5bn valuation. Advent, Temasek and Xora Innovation led the round, while earlier investors Eclipse and Khosla Ventures participated again. The 70-person Palo Alto firm plans to use funds for computing power and hiring to expand its AI-based physics simulation tools for chip design.
