Astrobase Builds India's First Full-Flow Rocket Engine

Astrobase Technologies unveiled Everest, India's first full-flow staged combustion rocket engine, making India the fourth country to develop such technology. The Bengaluru startup, cofounded by CoinDCX's Neeraj Khandelwal and former ISRO scientist Devakumar Thammisetty, targets its first orbital flight by 2028 and aims for India to send 1,000 tons of payload annually by 2035.
