Five labs release coding agents for non-coders

OpenAI launched ChatGPT Work on July 9 for Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users. It runs on GPT-5.6, opens local files, edits Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 documents, and completes multi-step tasks. Anthropic, Microsoft, Perplexity, and Amazon have also released similar agents targeting non-coders.
