Amazon Web Services filed plans for a 36-building data center campus spanning 1,100 acres in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The Homer City Energy Campus will create 1,500 to 2,000 jobs powered by a new 4.5GW natural gas facility replacing a 2GW coal station. Construction begins December 2026 with completion by June 2036.
