Claude Code v2.1.181, released June 17th, uses a Rust port of Bun. Startup is 10% faster on Linux. The binary contains 563 Rust source filenames and a Bun v1.4.0 version string, indicating a preview of an unreleased Bun version is running in production across millions of devices.
