CFTC sues Trevor Vernon in $14M crypto fraud

The CFTC sued Trevor Vernon and Argent Capital Management for allegedly defrauding at least 60 investors of $14.8 million through a commodity pool trading crypto, equity index futures, and options. Vernon allegedly lost over $8.6 million trading, misappropriated $3 million in a Ponzi-like scheme, and used $136,000 for private air travel.
