DOE labs launch SYNAPS-I to integrate machine learning into X-ray and neutron experiments. The project combines five national laboratories to develop shared solutions for faster imaging. Demonstrations at NSLS-II show automated experiments analyzing images in real time. Teams also achieved real-time reconstruction at 200 images per second using NVIDIA Holoscan.
