QR-code phishing, or quishing, hides malicious URLs in visual patterns, bypassing email filters and moving victims to unmanaged phones. ESET found malicious QR codes in 11 percent of phishing emails in H1 2026. Kimsuky used quishing against think tanks and government entities.
