Alex Yu built a mostly-printed 3D printer called the Encore using CoreXY kinematics and linear rails. The printer has no internal frame and uses a 120 mm print bed with a Bowden extruder and Bambu-style hotend. It features NEMA 17 stepper motors and sliding belt tensioning. Alex solved cooling issues with stronger fans and redesigned ventilation. The Encore produces good parts after tuning Z-axis stability.
