Sony Denies Stopping Disc Production, Admits 10% Cut

Sony DADC clarified that its final disc plant will reduce output by 10%, not 90% as previously reported. The company denied claims it is abandoning physical disc manufacturing entirely. Sony still plans to end new physical game production in January 2028, but publishers can continue reordering existing disc-based games after that date.
