Bolt Graphics powered on its first silicon for the Zeus GPU project in mid-October using a 12nm test chip made by TSMC. The startup raised about $100 million at a $700 million valuation. The chip measures 6mm^2 and draws 1.4 watts, beating internal estimates for a physics algorithm. Volume production is not expected until 2028.
