US court rejects Xinuos Linux ownership appeal

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit rejected Xinuos' claims that IBM and Red Hat improperly contributed Project Monterey UNIX code to Linux, ruling the case time-barred. Xinuos will seek a full-bench rehearing, a long shot with a 0.03% chance of being granted.
