Lowe's Launches Drone Delivery With DoorDash, Wing

Lowe's launched a drone delivery service with DoorDash and Alphabet's Wing, starting a pilot in Matthews, North Carolina. Customers can order over 100 products via DoorDash for delivery in as fast as 20 minutes. Drones carry about 2.5 pounds within a 5-mile radius. It is the first home improvement retailer to offer drone delivery, with expansion planned if successful.
