Samsung CEO TM Roh said the Korean market is the foundation for strengthening the Galaxy brand's global competitiveness, explaining why Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Fold 8 prices are far lower in South Korea than in the US and Europe. The Fold 8 Ultra costs $2,099 in the US but 2.58 million won ($1,743) in Korea, a roughly 20% difference.
