Samsung Switches Gallery Backup to Google
2 min read
Samsung halted OneDrive sync support for its Gallery app on September 30, 2026, replacing it with Google Photos integration. A survey of over 2,500 users revealed that 48.1% previously utilized the Microsoft service, while 51.9% did not. This shift affects nearly half the user base, forcing them to migrate existing backups to Google's cloud platform.
