Amazon Web Services has told customers it cannot restore access to its cloud facility in Bahrain or one of its three data hosting zones in the UAE, six months after drone strikes hit its sites. The company stated the damage exceeded what its regional and multi-AZ services were designed to withstand, affecting multiple Availability Zones.
