Meta launched Meta VR Glasses on Wednesday, a roughly 100g headset with an external compute puck, three-hour battery, and about 2.5K resolution per eye. Priced at $1,299 and shipping spring 2027, it undercuts Apple's Vision Pro by more than half while adding eye and face tracking, DisplayPort over USB-C, and a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 3 chip.
