Chinese supercomputer using local processors heads TOP500 list

The LineShine supercomputer at the National Supercomputer Center in Shenzhen leads the TOP500 list at 2.198 Exaflop/s. It uses Chinese LX2 processors based on Armv9 designs and runs KylinOS, a Linux distribution. The machine achieved the top spot without Nvidia, Intel, or AMD hardware.
